Care & Share is for people who are homeless, have been homeless or are vulnerable to homelessness. At the heart of Care & Share is our weekly drop-in every Wednesday 2-4.30pm at Riverside Church (next door to the Job Centre Plus) on John Street, Ayr. Here you'll get a great meal, make new friends and find out all about our various activities. At Care & Share you can (if you choose to) access a range of help and advice... help with health, benefits, housing, addiction advice, education, getting back to work and lots more!

Have a look at our site here, and you'll see for yourself what we're all about. Please come along or feel free to get in touch.

Words Play Songs

Poems and writingsPosted by Uuganaa 27 Mar, 2012 03:15PM
As part of our class we listened to songs and wrote. The first one was Somewhere Over The Rainbow sang by Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole. The second one was Sultans Of Swings by Dire Straits.

The first time I heard this song was when I was a baby. My mum who had a lovely voice sang it to me and my two sisters.
And it really is a wonderful world seeing the rainbow and people smiling, especially at Christmas awaiting the arrival of Santa and prezzies. By Burky

Dire Straits reminds me of my almost youthfull days when life was for living to the full. We went dancing at weekends and working hard the rest of the week. One of the best bands of their day brought those memories back.

Lisa and Tony's writings still to come.
